Downgrading Mysql server from 8 to previous version that is 5.7
# service mysqld stop# yum remove mysql-community-server
# yum remove mysql80-community-release
# rpm -qa | grep -i mysql-community | xargs sudo rpm -e --nodeps
# sudo rm -rf /var/lib/mysql/ib_logfile*
#yum remove mysql-community-server mysql-client mysql-common mysql-community-client mysql-community-client-core mysql-community-server mysql-community-server-core -y
#yum repolist enabled | grep "mysql.*-community.*"
#rpm -qa | grep -i mysql-community | xargs sudo rpm -e --nodeps
Install Mysql 5.7
#sudo yum localinstall https://dev.mysql.com/get/mysql57-community-release-el7-11.noarch.rpm
# yum list mysql-community-server
# yum install mysql-community-server
# shutdown -Fr now
# service mysqld start
